When will I get paid?<\/h3>\n

We make every effort to pay all of the parties involved quickly, oftentimes the same day the transaction closes. However, this can vary based on the day or time of day the closing occurs. For example, most banks aren\u2019t open after 5 or 6 pm and are closed on weekends.<\/p>\n

That said, here is when you can expect to be paid for your closing or your commission if you were part of helping a transaction become a done deal:<\/p>\n

Sellers<\/h3>\n

If you are owed net proceeds from the sale of a home, you can usually expect a check to be cut the same or next business day or a wire which will be initiated same or next business day depending on the time of day of the closing and funding of the transaction.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019d like to receive the funds very quickly, it might be a good idea to select a Monday-Thursday closing date between the hours of 11AM and 3PM, EST. This way you shouldn\u2019t have to wait until the following week if banks or offices are closed.<\/p>\n

Realtors<\/h3>\n

If you are owed a Commission as Realtor, you can usually expect a check to be cut the same or next business day or a wire to be initiated the same or next business day depending on the time of the closing of the transaction. The fastest way to receive your funds is for you to request that your Broker provide the title company with a Brokers Authorization. As the title company we can cut you a check or initiate a wire for your portion of the commission directly to you.<\/p>\n
