Founding Attorney

Ligia is the founding attorney of Mensah Law, LLC, focusing her practice on representing individuals. Not only do her courtroom experience and strong litigation skills put her ahead of other lawyers, but her standard of care and compassion when handling each case like the most important case are what set her apart from all other trial attorneys in Georgia. Ligia is known for being transparent and straight-forward with her clients. She will make sure you reach a successful resolution in your legal action and make the process as smooth as possible.

She came to the United States as a young child from Romania and uses her immigrant perspective to provide a highly compassionate and unique approach to clients’ legal issues. Ligia prides herself on making her clients feel comfortable and secure in their choice of representation. Using grit and determination, Ligia advocates on behalf of her clients to ensure that their best interests are met in the most efficient manner possible.

Ligia graduated from the University of Georgia in 2018 with a degree in criminal justice and sociology and earned her JD from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2023. After gaining invaluable experience clerking for the Honorable Kandace Gerdes in the 2nd Judicial District Court of Colorado, as well as numerous firms in both Colorado and Georgia, Ligia opened her own firm. By owning her own law firm, she is able to assist individuals who desperately need someone to advocate for them.

Ligia is licensed to practice in Georgia in both state and federal courts. In her free time, she enjoys being outside with her husband, young son, and two dogs, Lucy and Loki.
